I absolutely love this book! I have a huge collection of Indian cookbooks and yet none as much loved and used as this one. I have yet to find another book on Indian cuisine which gives me not just the recipes but takes me on a gastronomic tour of India. This book is so readable that it is more often on my bedside table than in my kitchen. Forget all those standard curry books where most recipes come from the northern regions of India. If you want a real taste of all of India, you must buy this book! Highly recommeded!

As above I watched a repeat of a very early tv series and decided to buy this book. It is one of the best books I have. Authentic curries on every page. If you like Indian food and I don't mean BIR food buy this book, you will not be disappointed. Lots of information about the different area's make this a good read as well.
