Amazon Verified Purchase
As a novice would be bowler I found this book Flat Green Bowls: Skills of the Game fairly helpful. However, subsequently I have received a copy of the Crowood Sports Guide called "Bowls". I would have to say that this second book is better illustrated and with clearer explanations and advice. However, Gwyn John's book is not a bad book but there are others on the market which in my view are better.
