Not one of Micheal Palmer's better books. The story started in the usual gripping way, but fell flat in certain places, but however, built up to a dramatic conclusion.

The plot may not be as exciting as in some of his earlier novels, but is certainly well worth the read. Well thought out and as usual excellently written. Love, drama, suspense, this one's got it all!

Flashback is a novel with a medical theme. The main characters appear to have little in common - a young boy and an eminent cardiologist.

The link turns out to be in the operating theatre in which they both had treatment. If you are looking for a book to engage your attention and make you think , this is the one for you. A mixture of romance, mystery and medical ethics make it hard to put down before the end.

This is the 5th book of Palmer's that I have read and I really enjoyed all of them. From the begining I couldn't put it down. I found myself constantly trying to second guess what would happen next only to find another plot opening. I would recommand this book to anyone, but not to someone who might be having an operation in the near future. It certain made me think and I live with a doctor!
