Well, upon purchasing my first car (which wasnt a state of the art one with a built in alarm, nor worth the cost of getting one fitted) I was concerned about the vehicle saftey. So I found this product on Amazon, it had no reviews so I was however skeptical. I soon realised there were no other products like this on the market, which didnt include wiring to battery and drilling holes. So I went ahead and ordered it. The very next day my parcel arrived and I was extremely impressed as I didnt pay for express delivery, just standard.
The product does what it says, it's a very good size very realistic looking. Came with batteries and the on/off switch is concealed within the box, so you simply slip the cover off to replace batteries and to switch on and off. The LED flashes just like other alarms I have seen on other cars and its not too bright (christmas tree looking).
All in all a very good product, I have stuck it on my centre console in my car and I switch it on at night time.
In addition to this product I also bought some ' Alarm Fitted to this Vehicle' stickers from my local car shop, just to give it that bit more of an 'official' look.
I highly recommend this product to anyone thinking about it, very impressed.

This is a very small unit, about the size of a box of matches..The switch to turn it on/off is located inside the unit so you have to take the front cover off to switch it on/off, the cover is "very" loose, not a snugg fit but i have sorted this by sticking small strips of electrical tape around the edges so the cover has a nice "Snugg" fit!!.... Now......The Price.....Well in my humble opinion a bit overpriced for what you get-- A very small black box with a flashing light -- would have been more inpressed if you could alter the light, I.e. Have different "Flashing" modes, But it hasn't..It came with batterys in it but i feel i will have to replace these at once as the flashing of the little light appears a bit weak..So to recap..Its ok-ish, not brilliantly made & slightly overpriced.
In 1999 I bought 10 of these Flash Harry,s for the back of my house from a supplier in Warrington Cheshire, my house is fitted with a high quality alarm system professionally maitained, but as the back of it is surrounded by very large trees I thought it would make my security system stand out. All are still working and have a battery loggging chart inside the box, the batteries last about 11 months Duracell Ultra Power. A good product, they where a bit cheaper then!

Great little deterrent only marred by the fact that it was posted in a standard envelope with only a small thin strip of bubble
