We bought this game whilst on holiday in Cornwall...and it certainly helped amuse the children for many a rainy hour!! The game can, on first sight, appear a bit complicated with the various "special" cards ie reverse play, pick up 4, pick up 2, skip a go, but, once mastered, the game proceeds smoothly and, with the winner being the first player to reach 500 points, needn't go on too long! My youngest (8) was able to play Uno without much adult intervention and my 11 year old soon mastered the strategy needed to be a really sneaky player!
I cannot recommend this enough - the collector's editions are definitely worth buying as they all have one "special" card, which is only available with that design. Great value and a great game!

I'd say this needs at least three players to work. Good snappy game, constantly moving, easy to pick up, and will keep children quiet for up to 30 mins per game. Enough variation for repeated playings. Easily stored in the tin (vital to prevent cards being lost as happens with most child's things). Nice colourful cards. Worth the money I'd say.
