Product Description
On a distant island a long time ago, the story of Gormiti begins... The magnificent island of Gorm was once inhabited by peaceful, nature-loving people who lived under the guidance of The Old Sage, keeper of secrets and magic... One day Fire Mountain, the volcano on which they lived, exploded, destroying the lush green land with its ashes! From the ashes rose strange creatures, moulded from the heat of the lava and led by Magmion, Lord of Magma. These creatures were called the Lords of Magma and the evil Magmion craved the souls of the defenseless Gormiti!... The fantastic tree-shaped playset with lots of playing functions is the "Forest Peoples" Refuge against the other element tribes. The Forest Refuge sets the scene for great adventures with your Gormiti collection.

Bought this along with other gormiti stuff for my sons birthday, he has played with it a bit but as soon got bored with it. The biggest let down is the DVD that comes with it, it is very poor quality and is more like a advertisement with no real animation, just bad voice acting and still shots.
My advice: buy the 4 pack figures, avoid the playsets - they are very overpriced.

Bought this for my son for christmas as he is really into Gormitis' he did play with it for a couple of days but as it dosent do a great deal lost interest. It also comes unclipped very easily. Unlike the characters this is not as durable.

My son absolutely loves Gormittis and so this set went down a treat, he really gets loads out of it in terms of role playing with his Gormitti figures.
It's not the toughest plastic in the world, a figures arm has come off in the past but other than that it's pretty good with lots of little gadgets and hidey holes for the figures.
