My daughter loves aqua beads and we bought her this for her birthday. After much excitement setting up the parts, we discovered that the flower tower doesn't actually work properly and the beads get stuck in it. So, she has resorted to picking the beads out with her fingers - not how it's supposed to be done... Still, it looks pretty. But I do think it's a lot to pay for a fancy bead-holder, which is all it is at the end of the day!

I bought this as a present for a 4 year old girl and heard back from her mum saying she loved it. My 8 year old daughter has enjoyed playing with Aqua beads since she was 5 however needed a lot of supervision at that age(especially due to small parts). She told me she got the most pleasure of playing with aqua beads at age 6-7 as she could play and create unsupervised with friends. Sculpting with aqua beads requires concentration, skill, co-ordination, and imagination. A great present for little girls.

My 5year old daughter was very excited to start playing with her aqua beads, she found the bead machine great fun, this seemed to be the best part of the product, pushing all the beads out of the machine, then it unclipped and the colour beads dislodged and fell out of the machine mixing up all the colours, they are no longer seperate and have left them mixed. I was dissapointed at the amount of beads that came with the product, as it was not cheap and i cant see why sufficent beads where not enclosed with this. Overall yes a good toy but other than dexterity not very educational, more a fun toy.

my daughter loves making things with aqua beads, however you really have to concentrate when making them as one knock and the whole creation is ruined! The beads you get with this product are brilliant, however the tower is not great, it does not work as its meant to and the beads dont come out properly or the tower falls over and the beads get mixed up, my daughter quickly got fed up with the tower and now just picks up the colours she wants herself. fun product although a little overpriced i think.
