Plasticine is the original modelling clay, loved for it's soft, malleable and non-hardening characteristics. This Activity Bucket contains plenty of brightly-coloured Plasticine and four shaping tools. Plasticine was originally invented in 1897 and is still going strong.

This is brilliant stuff. It is correct to say that it never dries out but more than that, it does not stain or bleed colour over anything, nor is it sticky or dirty. The colours are vivid, the plasticine malleable and highly reusable. It's excellent value, full of creative potential and hours of fun. All four of my children love it but my eldest son spend hours making Mario models (example above) and no other plasticine is up to the job. Highly recommended.

My little boy loves 'play dough' and 'soft stuff' but they both dry out really quickly and crumble everywhere. Both myself and my husband fondly remembered Plasticine from our youth(!) and were so pleased to discover that you can buy it here. Our son has had hours of fun with it already and it isn't nearly as messy as the other stuff he used to play with. And his dad agrees that it is as good as we remembered!!!

Oh, it is back, lets have a plasticine revolution! My 10 year old son got a tiny packet for christmas as a stocking filler and it has taken over his life! So much better than him being stuck on an electric toy. We checked first on ebay but the prices for postage were incredible, just about doubled the price of the product! Excellent value for money, great reusable tub with a little set of cutters. He hasnt stopped modelling with it since it arrived, watch out for the new Wallace and Gromit!

Great bucketful of plasticine
Plasticine lovely big glons good for bigger projects. Platic bits with it a bit useless, too fiddly for small kids to mundane for older kids.
