My initial reaction to the flag stick was that it was well made and of sound materials. It would have been nice to have an assembly sheet, I know this may sound stupid but there were a couple of small parts, one was a rubber gromit and the other a piece of plastic. I assume these held the flag in place at the top of the stick but had to guess how they fitted and I am still not sure if they are on right.
Having used the flagstick on several occasions I noticed that the number 1 on the flag had started wearing off already which was a bit of a let down really, also the flag material it a little to stiff and not as silky as it should be, this makes it difficult to see how the wind is blowing as the flag does not respond to light breezes. This may sound like a picky review and I actually like the flagstick very much indeed, it serves the purpose for which I purchased it and I use it quite often to help my short game, the stick is visible from distance and I can make an approach shot from 175 yds and see exactly where the pin is.
So, if your garden allows then I would definately get one of these if you are serious about improving your Golf game. By far the biggest drawback has to be that in the UK most back gardens are simply too small to accomadate this product and if you are buying it simply for putting practice then I would'nt bother, simply make a hole in the ground and mow your lawn accordingly (and that's not easy with a standard mower)
