OK you've no doubt been dragged here by an amazon recommendation either that or you are an abosulte die hard Art Brut fan and feel you need to own every cd they have a remote connection to (I fall into that category with several bands, it's a disease). Anyway, it just doesn't work as a collaboration. Argos's usual punchy singing style doesn't work with the musac yamaha keyboard demo button sound and the result is akin to a Blue Peter presenter singing a song to make history fun. Really disappointing and comically cringeworthy at times making it an uneasy listening experience. In conclusion, not worth it for music but possibly a good purchase to show your mates how bizzare and "eclectic" your listenig tastes are and how much more you know about music than them. Rant over.

I read a review of this somewhere that intrigued me. Don't remembeer much about the review but I think it kind of missed the mark. Doesn't matter though. This is a listenable disc. Don't completely see why but I'm reminded of Kid Creole and the Coconuts when listening to it. Not for the somewhat salsa beat of the Kid but just the bouncy beats and somewhat nonsenical lyrics. But then again these are "response" songs. It is worthy of repeated listenings so you can safely spend the $$ on it.
