Product Description

Product Description

Mystery Moor isn't called by that name for nothing - as the Five are about to discover! There's something dangerous out there, and the gang mean to find out what it is, but they need some help. The travellers camped on the moor are no use - in fact, they're downright unfriendly. So the Famous Five have no other choice: they'll have to risk the treacherous mists and follow the trail . . . But do they know what they've let themselves in for?

These classic editions feature Enid Blyton's unchanged text and Eileen A. Soper's original illustrations.

Famous five!!! 13 Jan 2008
Format:Paperback
This book is the tale of when the Five get separated into boys and girls. George and Anne have to go to a Riding School while the boys are at home. The boys come to meet the girls at the Riding School and they stay there. While they are at the riding school, the five meet Henry (short for Henrietta) who is a very enthusiastic and skilled rider. George gets jealous of Henry and they become enemies calling each other by their first names which they totally despise. I like the bit when they find the crashed steam engine and they search for the track. The rating I would give this book is 8/10.

More fun with the five as Julian, Dick, George, Anne and Timmy go to a riding school at Easter. All the Blyton ingredients are there; sly gypsies and mysterious packages, and of course the five sort it all out. Look out for some funny (and intriguing) moments when George meets a girl who is a better boy than her!

Another classic by Enid Blyton. My children both loved all the books about Famous Five.
