I have never reviewed anything else before, but I feel I should pass on my thoughts to others, who are looking for easy SAFE exercise DVD for older people.
BEWARE.
The CD features 3 women moving about at quite a pace, with a voice over that does not give proper instruction on how to do the demonstrated movements safely.
By the looks of it, one of the group was as confused about what she was supposed to be doing as I was.
In my opinion this CD could end up injuring someone.
Stick to good old Rosemary Conley DVDs, as she at least explains how you should perform the movements she is about to do..... safely.
I won't even put this 3 box set into the charity shop, in case it does cause injury to a fellow 50+!

I bought this item for my mom as she is a bit creaky in the limbs. She finds it really relaxing and easy to do. not recommended for those who want a fast paced workout.

I am thoroughly enjoying these DVDs, with three different combinations of exercises, done at a pace that is comfortable for me. They definitely target the various muscles and I am already seeing the benefit, with more muscle definition and firmness showing after just a few weeks. As a fit and healthy 75 year old Widow, I enjoy the hourly workout, as well as being able to vary which one I do, according to how I feel. It has given me an increased sense of well being, that just daily walking with my two dogs, plus a bit of gardening, or housework, did not do.

Being able to do the routines in my own home, when convenient to me, and without the cost of classes is great. I find the instructions clear and easy to follow and am very pleased with my purchase. However, I doubt if any of my friends of my age group could do them, or would have the motivation to. Older people should start off slowly and work up to the full session, listening to their body as they exercise and ceasing at any sign of discomfort.

I run my own classes for over 50's and bought this set if DVD's for new ideas.
I was disappointed as the exercises were too easy and not at all demanding. My groups, many of whom are over 70) would sneer at me if I presented them with these workouts. Definitely not meant for the very fit and active over 50's.

I am over 50; and from injury / and surgery - have found I am no longer as toned or as flexable as I had been. I wanted to start back into health and fitness slowly and steadily - and this is ideal.

I bought the set of three; as it is cheaper to get the three; then to buy them one at a time. I personally wanted the three titles; as they work different things in different ways. BUT they are also sold individually; if you need to work one or two.
