I like a book that has to explain its title. I like a book that is subtitled `essential and obscure facts from the history of Scottish football'. I like Adam Scott's just published addition to football's trivia-trove Fitba Gallimaufry. I feel more erudite and worthy simply from being made aware that the seasons 1951-52 and 1954-55 are the only two in history in which the Old Firm failed to win a trophy.

This might just be my favourite Scottish book of all time. haven't stopped browsing and dipping in since Christmas, it is fascinating and daft in almost equal measure. Really hope they do a sequel

Stumbled upon this gem while looking for football related Christmas presents. If you can't find a stocking filler for the dedicated Scottish Fitba follower then the answer is here.
Finally answers the question of who actually did eat all the pies and even goes so far as to suggest what the filling was. Great fun. Highly recommended.
