I ordered this so i could connect my BT Vision box to my amp. The reviews on Amazon persuaded me that this was a quality piece of kit.
On arrival in a padded jiffy bag, it looked a good cable and was well made. When i tried to connect the item to my vision box, it would not fit. I decided to have a closer look at the ends of the cable and noticed that the ends had a clear plastic type finish on them that was quite hard. Now, never having had an optical fibre cable before, i was not sure whether this was part of the cable or not.
I decided to phone the number on the website and was surprised when my call was answered straight away. The Lady on the phone said that the plastic type material on the ends of the cable were just a protection and that you can remove them with your nails which is what i did.
Having done this and connected to my amp, i selected a downloaded film and was met with Dolby Digital suround sound, nice and clear.
So, to cap it all, this is a Quality product with a great aftersales, Just remeber to take off the clear protection before trying to connect to your equipment!

I bought two of these cables, one for connecting my Xbox 360 to my Sony Amp and another for connecting my Samsung TV to the same Amp, in both cases they work faultlessly and for the price are invaluable!

I have a BT Vision box, PS3 and home cinema all running hdmi into the tv. I use this cable to send the sound back to the home cinema. Perfect bit of kit, good build quality and you can trust Fisual with their cables!

Better sound than your TV
I connect my surround sound to my TV with this cable. It replaced a shorter one which kept falling out of the sockets. This cable is more secure. Read more
