I started using Fisual interconnects when I needed a cheap HDMI cable. What I was sold was a great HDMI cable, cheaply.
This optical cable follows the same pattern.
Good positive connectors at either end and a very flexible cable between them (not like the cheap, hard nasty cables sometimes supplied that can be brittle and difficult to fit into cramped setups).

Used it to hook up my BT Vision Box to my Sony surround sound system, and works great. It's digital, so if it works it doesn't make sense to spend more money on something fancier!

I needed the 5m optical cable to suit the new layout of the living room. As the TV and the Hi-Fi were now to be placed at different ends of the room I'd need something a bit longer than the 1m cable origianally supplied with the Hi-Fi unit. With many more expensive options to choose from I opted for the cheapest and glad I did. The Fisual Digital Optical cable is all you need for excellent audio between TV and Hi-Fi allowing me to continue listenting to cinema surround sound via the Hi-Fi when playing DVDs or listening to MTV.

Unfortunate
My cable came from a faulty batch where the connector heads are too small and the weight of the cable pulls the connector out of the TV. Read more

Size matters.
Most affordable optical cables tend to run at the 1-1.5m length, which I've always felt leads to a cluttered environment. Read more
