I have recently bought a Full HD TV and wanted to make the most of the equipment I already have. Now, we have an Xbox 360 which upscales DVDs brilliantly but the problem is it doesn't play region 1 DVDs which we have rather a lot of. I wanted to connect our multi-region DVD player to the new TV and I had the option of SCART or Component - so I went with a good component cable so that I could make the most of its progressive scan feature.

I am more than impressed with the difference in quality between SCART and Component. Although there is no upscaling going on from the DVD player, this cable does make the output on the TV a lot clearer - and for the price, who am I to complain?

It's a fantastic cable for low price, good length (so that I can have the DVD player hidden away in a cupboard) and is thick and sturdy. Well worth it compared to the overpriced ones available on Amazon.

I bought the cable from AVOPRO and in less than 2 days it was at my door, well packaged and ready to use. Great company.

I had to return this as I thought my SKY+ box had component outputs but it only has S-Video, so I can't comment on the quality.

However, I am very impressed by the service of the seller... my cable was delivered two days before amazon said it would be despatched..how cool is that???

Also, when I contacted the seller to organise the exchange for an S-Video cable, they were very helpful and the turnaround time was only 2 days..

All in all, a very pleasant buying experience..

i bought this lead as i needed a temporary component lead for my old plasma TV for use with sky HD. i now receive clear high definition signal and looks great. no need to spend excessive amounts of cash on leads when one like this doesnt the job adequately.
