Having read a lot of reviews about different snow shovels I plumped for this one as it looked the best. As I expected for an item sold by Amazon rather than another trader it arrived quickly and is a very good design. It has a D handle to stop it twisting. The handle is a nice length to allow good leverage and not hurt my back. The head is not too large and has a metal reinforced edge. I bought this for my aged mother-in-law and the design means she will be able to use it easily. I have just ordered another one for myself.

The shovel was delivered in good time and condition. price was fair although I saw them slightly cheaper at the local supermarket after I ordered. Fortunately not had to use it yet but look ssturdy and think it will work fine.

Handle a good length, some are a little too short for pushing snow. Ally strip on leading edge won't last long...so rivetted stainless steel strip over it for extra rigidity & longevity (try saying that three times quickly). 'D' handle is comfy some are blister makers. Now all I need is somebody else to shovel the snow for me.....Honey...

Found a much better one in Tes-co with ally handle, lighter, more rigid and cheaper!
So cut this Sankey one down to fit in the car.

ok, but not the best snow shovel on amazon - bulldog is best
ok.. better than others on here, but if you want the best snow shovel get the bulldog snow shovel. the silver metal bit at the tip of the shovel came off. Read more
