This outshines the four previous trimmers I have owned by far. Effortlessly cuts through thick card, thick plastic, thin aluminium, cardboard etc. In fact, I haven't found a thing it won't cut through yet. The blades last 3-times longer than any of the other machines. It's clear measurement markers are excellent for precise cutting up to 12" x 12" items. The 'icing on the cake' is how light it is.

Just read the third review here and felt I had to defend this superb trimmer. I am still using the original I bought back in 2006 (obviously changing the blade regularly). It is always to hand and is used nearly everyday by one or other family member.

This is the best paper trimmer on the market, in my opinion. I am a paper craft tutor, and have now bought around 12 of these, for different students, after they've used mine, and see how simple it is to use. It is accurate, the blades last for ages, especially if you turn them round...I have a tendency to cut in one direction, this prolongs their life. I have large and small guillotines, and various other cutters, this is the only one we have found to be easy to use and accurate, as well as light weight for carrying to classes. It is primarily a paper trimmer, unsure of its durability cutting other products like thin metal etc, although I have cut thin rigid plastic easily.

I have been trying to get a paper trimmer for ages that would cut clean and straight and because of the reviews I thought this was the one but no. Another disappointment to add to the paper cutter I had to send back. Can't be bothered to send this one back For Scrapbookers there is an excellent guillotine on sale with Amazon in USA the Tonic Studio 12" but they wont send it to me in the UK. Why doesn't Amazon stock this British item?

Problem with buying unseen
