John Lurie's musical style is so unique, and so appealing. This soundtrack beautifully setts the tone for the show, which is also amazing. Even without knowledge of the show, this soundtrack can be enjoyed by all. It has an interesting and wide mix of different styles, some humorous and others whimsical and enchanting. Pick up this album.

This is a must for fan of John Lurie. Up until recently I had never heard of Lurie nor his work with the Lounge Lizards. Simply put, it is facinating work. ``Fishing with John'' is a very very good album (I really liked #3) even if you are like me and have never seen the TV series. Is it on Video?

I absolutely love the 'bizarre and wonderful' music featured in the show and so I had to buy this. But mostly, I have to give this great soundtrack a positive review to balance out that wackjob's 1 star review.
