I'm a little bit confused as to whether the supply/demand issues with these toys are not such a big deal now months after they came out (it's now mid Summer and they were released early Spring) or if I have a particularly well stocked Toys R Us or if maybe Team Umizoomi just isn't a big seller in my area.
I have had no problem finding all 3 of the toys. This mattered a lot to me because both my son and daughter love this show, and I love that it models math concepts to boys *and* girls with a brother and sister team. Seems pretty much a win for boy/girl twins, no?
In any case, don't pay reseller prices, find all three in store if you can, instead. Mostly because as cute as the toys are, and as rare as Umizoomi tie-in toys are, they still are not the most amazing toys and really shouldn't cost more than their USD$6.99 suggested retail. They're good quality, but are really just figures that bend in the middle and click in place in their vehicle. As far as that goes, though, they are fantastic imagination needed toys. No batteries, just your child's own inner creativity.
Isn't that the way with all the best toys?
Do find all three, though, as few children will be happy with just one.
