Product Description

Product Description

Removable Thomas & Friends toy tray helps keep baby entertained while you’re busy preparing meals or cleaning up, making mealtime more fun for baby and easier for you, too. Plus, it’s got all the features you look for in a portable booster and it even “grows” with baby to a table-time booster seat for toddlers.

Make mealtime more fun and enjoyable for everyone. All aboard for mealtime. Baby can push Thomas around the track, over the bridge and through the lift-and-lower gate. When it’s time to eat, the toy tray easily removes to reveal a clean feeding tray underneath. A comfortable seat and adjustable three-point restraint keep baby comfortable and secure and clean-up is a breeze. Both trays are dishwasher-safe and the seat is easy to wipe clean, with no crevices to trap crumb.

“Grows” with baby Fisher-Price Thomas & Friends Tray Play Booster seat is easy to convert from a baby booster with play and feeding trays, to a “big-kid” toddler booster for table-time. Just remove the tray and seat back. The Thomas toy tray is also for table top or floor play.

“Dine in or takeout?” Both this booster seat is ideal for use at home or on the go. The straps securely adjust to fit most dining chairs, the removable Thomas toy tray keeps baby busy while you prepare or wait for meals (and keeps baby’s feeding tray clean) and the seat back folds down for compact portability with an over-the-shoulder strap for easy, hands-free carry. Thomas is attached to the toy tray, so he can’t get lost or thrown off-track.

You’re invited. Taking a seat at the table is an important milestone in baby’s transition to toddler. At the table, toddlers have the opportunity to observe and build on social skills, manners and listening and communication skills as they join in the action and conversation.

A lovely bright coloured booster seat for your toddler. My grandson who is about a year old, could not move the train but like to bend & bite it. He sat watching tv in this on the floor and we put it on a chair and it tied securely and safely, which is easy to do, there is one for behind the chair back & one for underneath and we made sure they were tight fitting so the chair wouldnt move about.

I know none of these chairs have harness fittings but I sure wished they did as the lap belt isnt a good idea for the younger child. But we constantly watched while feeding to make sure he didnt try to climb out.

And as it becomes a booster as the child grows makes meal times more enjoyable as they are sat with family at the table. As it is portable it is easy to transport where ever we go, on holiday or just when visiting family. Very light and easy to carry, using one of the straps as an handle.

My son tried this one out on my grandson. Results as follows:
“As an owner of a similar Fisher-Price product (the Space Saver High Chair) I was interested to try this model for my 14month old son. On first impressions, it is well made, it has bright sturdy fixings and it has the advantage over the Space Saver of an additional tray length setting. Like the Space Saver, the tray is dishwasher-safe. It is easy to use and collapse quickly, making it great to take wherever you go. I have noticed a few flaws, the major one being Thomas’ lack of “fun” - he goes round the track forwards and backwards, and my son got bored of very quickly; also the seat has no cover which, while it makes it easy to clean on hot days, meant that when my son was wearing shorts he got stuck to the plastic when I was “extracting” him from the seat.
Overall a good high chair, but I think the Space Saver just has the edge over it.”

Fisher Price's Thomas the Tank Engine Booster Play Seat. First impressions are good. The seat is sturdy, colourful and bright. Set up is easy and the instructions-are adequate, Safety notes are obvious but I guess that is a necessity these days.

The seat fixes to a conventional dining room chair by means of webbing straps and the child is held securely in place with a further set of webbing straps. The front tray then attaches with three possible positions (to accomodate growth) and there is a fold down back rest with a nice picture of Thomas. The "play" tray insert is a nice idea or would be if it worked properly, A bright green base with an oval track, a red bridge and a yellow crossing barrier and Thomas fixed into the track. First problem is that he does not run smoothly. Just a basic push motion to move him round the track but he keeps sticking. To an infant hand this will be something that will cause frustration or soon lack of interest or worse - damage. Even with an adult hand that can vary the pressure when it sticks does not overcome the problem.

The concept of having a portable/flexible/go anywhere booster play seat is a great idea if it works but I cannot see this being lugged around with all the other items when the child is taken out. We use it when our grand daughter comes to visit but not attached to a chair - we use it on the floor. She is 7 months and fits comfortably which prompts the question "will she fit when she is older ?" Fisher Price say "up yo 3 years" but this means removing the back rest which does not feel like a good idea.

The seat is made from robust plastic and that means it is easily cleaned and whilst you cannot get everything, sitting on plastic with bare legs on a hot day? ...

This is a really good booster seat but don't buy it just for the Thomas the tank toy as that part of it is not great.

The seat is sturdy, attaches to a chair securely and is easy to clean. My 7 month old is happy to sit in it and play when I need to put her somewhere safe, I am still mainly using the high chair for meals but I think we will move over to using this instead soon.

The Thomas toy is attached to the track which initially I thought was a good idea as it can't get thrown out, but actually he doesn't move that smoothly round the track and I think the novelty factor will wear off quite quickly when a child realises he can only go forward and back around the small circuit. My daughter is a bit young to enjoy pushing him round the track so mainly just tries to chew him.

Luckily the tray insert with Thomas on comes out easily so they can sit and play with other toys or eat.

It's a much nicer booster seat than a cheap one I had for my son a couple of years ago, I think the high back makes it more comfortable compared to one without a proper back.

Our 18 month-old baby girl loves it. We haven't attached it to a chair so far, since we haven't travelled since we received it, but we use it regularly. She likes to sit in it to have an afternoon snack and waits patiently for me to put the tray on. Also, when we are sitting out in the garden having lunch, she has her lunch in it on the floor.

We have another booster without the tray and I have to say that the tray is a life-saver. She enjoys feeding herself, so we can just put her lunch on it without worrying about her dropping the bowl. Also, as the tray can go in the dishwasher, you can ensure that, wherever you go, you can put food directly on the tray without worrying whether the restaurant table, for example, has been cleaned to your standards.

The only downside is the little train insert. Perhaps an 18 month-old baby is too old to get entertained by that. Luckily, you can easily take it out so you can add your own toys.
