Product Description

Product Description

The Fisher-Price Precious Planet Newborn-to-Toddler Rocker is a great grow-with-baby rocker and seat. It starts out as an infant seat or rocker with a low-profile frame; very appropriate for newborns. Then, as your baby grows, you can easily convert this portable rocker to an infant seat to add interactive toy play, feeding and sleeping. Then, make it a toddler rocker. Flip out the feet to convert it from a rocker to a stationary seat for older babies or toddlers. The rocker folds easily and has a built-in handle, so it can go wherever you and baby do. The removable toy bar provides fun activities and helps develop baby's sense of touch.

Developmental Guidelines: Use the portable rocker’s upright position only when your child has developed enough upper body control to sit without leaning forward. The Fisher-Price Precious Planet Newborn-to-Toddler Rocker requires 1 x D battery (not included) and 2 x button-cell batteries (included) for the toy in toy bar. It is suitable from birth up to a maximum weight of 18 Kgs (40 Lbs).

This chair is not suitable for babys 10months old and up ,as my son was able to wiggle almost out of the chair. He was lay upside down with chair on top of him on the floor on several occasions yet still strapped in. Fantastic product for young babies but could really do with a harness for a more active child. feels a waste for me as i bought this chair when my son grew out of bouncer and thought it be better for him as its suppose to be a toddler chair and now my son is 10month old i dont feel safe to put him init, was happy with everything else bout product but just think it could do with some harness/reins or something for extra safety.

At two months old my little one was desperately trying to sit more upright and on the normal bouncer her head was being moved about quite a lot and a few times she nearly slid off the edge. Too much of a worry...So I bought this chair and as soon as she sat in it her little face gave the biggest smile and a good half hour of coo-coo it is one of the safest chairs i have seen for quite little one's and am looking forward to her growing and getting a different perspective on the rocker. easy to fit together does appear quite a lot of plastic considering the cost but the releif of safety and seing little one so content makes up for that. the toys are not over fussy but enough to occupy without over stimulating and creating an upset little one, not a big fan of vbrate and melody on any chair don't see the need but hey ho,,, i am sure some parents are loving that feature. My 6 year old desperately wanted to try it and was most upset it was too little for her... thats how fun and comfy it is.

I bought this for my son when he was about 2.5 months old as we had a basic bouncer chair from Asda and we realised that as he had got heavier, all his weight was being supported by the harness and was crushing his bits and bobs. Ouch! Initial impressions were good but soon started to agree with other reviewers that it's just too hard. The part where the baby's head goes is flat and hard but yet it is not solid enough to withstand daily use. After a few days his head made a hollow in it which he then rolls into every time he sits in it, causing pressure on the same part of his head each time. Today I have had to put a small soft teddy next to his head to keep his head out of that space on the chair. Also, when he kicks his feet they really thump against the edge of the seat. The padding should really have been extended around the edge of the chair. And like someone else said, my baby also gets really frustrated by the monkey and hippo. Not only are they too far away to reach but they seem to freak him out after about a minute (or less) and he gets quite aggravated. He is almost 4 months old now and he still reacts this way. Also they don't really 'do' anything. They have a really lame jingle that's not enough to excite even the most bored of babies I shouldn't think. Also, the edges of the feet on the chair are really sharp and scratchy and if you're like me and walk around bare foot, you're going to keep hurting yourself as you continually bang into the chair as you walk by in your sleep deprived state. I'm going to keep using the chair as LO seems to sleep OK in it and it's handy to sit him in while we eat but just be aware it does have its issues.
