My 3 year old was bought this for his birthday and it has to be one of his most played with toys. The cars are easy to shake and last for a good 4 hours before they need charging. The track is really easy to set up and change the layout. The cars go pretty fast & go round the loop and over the jumps really well. The added accessories of flags & barrels for crash action are a great addition and give them another option to play with. The cars make great revving sounds when you shake them and will even go on carpet if you get bored of the track, which isn't likely given the variations in track you can have. This is much more suitable than a Scalextric for younger children and I would definitely recommend this toy for little ones (and their Daddies!)

We bought it for his birthday and he loves it!
So easy to put together very tough wearing so very age appropriate. Unlike a scaletric this is easy to control as u just shake the cars and put them on the track and they shoot of at a great speed. The cars charge by putting them on a battery powered charger.
You can set the track into about 4 different ways and when ur done it's quick and easy to take apart.

I bought this for my grandson a year ago when he was 2. He is 3 now and still loves it. BUT one of the cars no longer holds its charge. I have contacted Mattel (who admitted they have had similar complaints) to see if I could buy a replacement. The cars have been well used and the set is a year old so I wasn't complaining. I just wanted to buy a replacement car but this is apparently not possible which is very disappointing. I object to buying a new set as it is quite an expensive toy and the track is still fine. I can't understand why you can't buy replacement cars!!
