This deluxe gym from the Fisher-Price Precious Planets range has three arches, which is unique considering most gyms have four arches. Three arches makes it easier for mum to access baby and position baby on the large, circular mat. There are two soft pancake character panels: a monkey with a crinkle leaf and a lion with felt grass. Both panels have velcro behind them so they can be attached to the arches. There is also a plastic polar bear with soft ears and hands. The polar bear has a ball in his belly, and when baby bats at it, baby will activate music and the polar bear's light-up nose. The polar bear also has velcro on his back so that he can be attached to the arches. In tummy time mode, the polar bear and the two pancake character panels can link together to create a three-character panel with music and light to entertain baby. The Fisher-Price Precious Planets All Around Musical Playtime Gym also comes with a large plastic sunshine mirror that can be attached overhead or to the arches. Two fabric clouds and two fabric stars hang from the mirror like a mini-mobile. You can choose up to 20 minutes of continuous music or let baby activate short musical segments whilst playing with all of the fun textures, sounds and toys. Assembled gym measures approximately 38 by 38 by 20 inches (length, width, height). Requires 2 x AA batteries (not included).

this playmat is so well made, they have put alot of effort into making it, it is so easy to put togeather, there was no confusion what so ever when putting it up! and it comes down easily aswel, you press the stars ontop of the cloud to release the arches
this is a gorgeous playmat! and it has so many different things for your baby to see
we slide our daughters bouncer under the arches and she can grab the penguin and spin the crocodiles bead ball and look in the sunny mirror
the polar bear plays tunes and its nose flashes, on his tummy there is a circle that your baby can turn with beads in, i think for the money they should have made it reveolve itself
if your looking for a playmat i suggest this one, i got mine from mothercare and there was 20% off

My son is tall for his age. While at a friends house I placed him on their rainforedt fisherprice gym and he almost filled the mat. This precious planet gym is big enough to last larger babies those extra months.
As he has developed he has utilised different things and enjoyed the gym in different ways. The black and white penguin kept him fascinated from the very start (when he could only see black and white). As he has grown he has loved grabing all of the toys and loved looking at the polar bear during tummy time.
I have lost count of the many many hours he has enjoyed spending using this gym. A life saver!

I find this better than the 4 legged ones as it means you can get baby in and out better and once they are old enough to sit up the arches are high enough for baby to sit under and play.
