Product Description

Product Description

The Fisher-Price Newborn-to-Toddler Portable Rocker starts out as an infant seat or rocker with a low-profile frame, which is very appropriate for newborns. Then, as your child grows, you can easily convert it to an infant seat to aid interactive toy play, then make it a toddler rocker. It folds easily and has a built-in handle, so it can go wherever you and baby do. The calming vibrations and gentle rocking motion help comfort and soothe baby, while the versatile seat angles add comfort for different age babies. As baby reaches for and plays with overhead and side activities, eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills are being refined. The rattles offer auditory stimulation and the bright colours and patterns stimulate baby’s visual sense. Enjoy years of use with this Fisher-Price Newborn-to-Toddler Portable Rocker, suitable from baby's birth to weight of about 40 pounds (18 kilograms). The rocker requires one D battery (not included). The seat pad is machine washable.

    5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant ! 13 Nov 2008
This is a fantastic must have buy ! I had a standard rocker when my daughter was born but after 2 months of trying to bounce the chair and eat my tea I decided to buy something new ! This was a fantastic buy, it is so easy to rock and the vibrate feature is great. It is easy to transport as it folds up. I also fed my daughter in this chair when she started on solids and was too small for a highchair. My daughter loves this chair and so do I !!

    5.0 out of 5 stars A must-have for a baby 14 Jan 2009
This was an absolute life-saver. I also had a basic bouncer which was a nightmare to keep bouncing.
This chair with its rock & vibrate modes calmed my son when he was crying better than anything else. We used it every day for the first 6 months and would recommend it to everyone - worth every penny!

2.0 out of 5 stars Good product but not for tall/long babies 9 Jan 2010
    By G's Mum
I originally purchased a Fisher Price Rain Forest bouncer for my son which he loved but had outgrown it by 4 months. Having read the good reviews of this seat I bought it and was initially delighted with it. It has deep sides which mean a baby would have difficulty rolling over the side. My little boy who is now 6 months loves the vibration and easily falls asleep. It would also be good for a newborn as it goes very flat. Unfortunately, I have two complaints: firstly the back of the seat is not long enough for my son. He is tall, but not exceptinally so, and already his head touches the top of the seat and if I try to pull him down further his back is in a bad position. I would like to be able to sit him in a more upright position which would help to resolve this problem, but this leads me into my second and most worrying problem. The safety belt is too short to secure around his waist which means it would be dangerous to put him in the upright position as he would easily be able to fall out. Overall a good product but if you have a tall child please think twice before buying as I may now have to buy a third seat and my son is only 6 months old.
