The Fisher-Price Little People Zoo Talkers Animal Sounds Zoo is a detailed, interactive playset featuring 'Animal ID' technology, which brings animals to life in a special way. Place any Little People Animal ID animal on the pawprint at the hut and it recognises that specific animal and responds with that animal’s name and the sound it makes. Playset incorporates 4 habitats (Grasslands, North and South Poles, Jungle and Water) with fun toddler activities on both sides and room for multiple children to play at once. Grasslands features pass-through cave and lion’s perch. North and South Poles feature winding waterslide that exits into the Water region below--there, press the lilypad to get fun sound effects and watch the hippo’s mouth open and close. The jungle features a swing, spinning treetop, teeter-totter and peek-a-boo door. The ticket area features a button that activates fun phrases and musical “ditties” about each habitat. There are many more built-in details, perches and peek-a-boo openings for playset play. Comes with lion, polar bear and monkey figures--match them to their habitats using the signage.

I got this toy for my 1 year old daughter's christmas. She loves it, especially the slide and the see-saw. It is good for all ages as it has different things for different ages.
There is a clicky tree top and squeeky nest for younger kids, then the slide and noise maker in the water area.
It has different areas with picture stickers to teach older kids about different habits and what animals live there. It could be very educational. The only fault ive found is that it doesnt come with the monkey on the box, it comes with a gorilla instead, and if the gorilla is used on the cave, it must be pushed down completely otherwise you get the lion cub noise.
Also, i was glad when i noticed that there is a handle on the top of the zoo. This makes it easier to move it round, which can be very useful with such a bulky toy.
It has lots of features and is very sturdy, but i think at £40 it was over priced, so was glad when i saw it in a sale. Also, i have had a lot of difficulty finding extra animals. Boots was out of stock of individual animals since atleast October 2011 and when i decided to buy the safari truck i found it out of stock since atleast November 2011. Boots was the only stockist i found with reasonably priced accessories (£3 for figures + £20 for truck). Hopefully the accessories should be more accessable in the near future.
Overall, when bought at a lower price, this zoo is very good for buying a younger child as it should be played with until they are 3+.

Received very quickly and in plenty of time for my grand-daughters 1st birthday. She has quickly mastered that if you put the gorilla or the lion on the stub that it tells you what the animal is and then makes the animal sound. The polar bear has a slide and there are a few places to put the animals or keeper. She particularly likes the hippo and loves the noise it makes. Very sturday. Well worth the money.

My son has a lot of fun with this. The brown of the tree looks nothing like that in the image, it is much paler and that shown, not the rich color expected. That was a bit of a disappointment.
The toy is a lot of fun though and does keep my 30 month old son occupied. We send all sorts of balls and leggo men down the slide, and there are a lot of things to open and rotate. His little 22 month old friend likes it too.
We haven't installed the batteries, so I can't comment on how well the sounds work. He has plenty of fun without the noises though.
The stickers don't resist being taken off too well, but my son made a game of removing them. If fisher price could include a backup sticker set, it would be great.
It was hard to assemble, it took at me at least 20 minutes and a hurt finger (and I am usually good with these things), so you may want to pre-assemble if you want it to be ready right after they open it.

Be warned!
Potentially a good toy, but at present (November 2011) I have found it near impossible to purchase any of the extra animals in the UK accept at seriously inflated prices.
