The Kick & Drive Gym encourages the natural movements that babies make when excited, rewarding kicking legs and waving arms with music and dancing lights.

Made from sturdy, wipe-clean plastic, the gym is relatively easy to assemble from the instructions, although the necessary Phillips screwdriver is not included. On our sample, the footplate did not snap into position very snugly and could probably be opened by small fingers--but as there is nothing to speak of behind the footplate, it was not a hazard and our six month old volunteer was not overly concerned.

The gym is designed to develop motor skills, motivate the imagination and encourage cognitive abilities--it's also great fun. When baby kicks the footplate, hits the dangling toys, or presses the buttons, he or she is rewarded with songs, blinking lights and movement.

The Kick & Drive Gym grows with your child from birth and converts easily into a toddler driver, providing many more hours of fun and opportunities for interactive play: dials to click, a signal lever to twang and a steering wheel to turn. Again, all the actions are rewarded with music, sounds and lights to stimulate the senses and inspire young imaginations. --Helen Baker

Not impossible to put together but the holes for the screws were not in line properly so a little patience required to get it right. Babe loved it as soon as she touched it but for a 6 month old who can't sit up un-aided this is a little boring after the first few kicks.

The grandparents purchased this gym for our son when he was about 3 months old. He loved it and could "excercise" for 45 minutes straight! Now that he's sitting, the top portion of the toy that spins seems to be a hazard to his little fingers. It's the most enticing part of the toy as it spins rapidly but when he touches it, that part jams and makes a horrible sound that scares him. Please watch your child's fingers on this one.

Ths Kick n Drive Gym has given hours of fun to our twins. They have been using it for weeks and never get bored with it. It is certainly the best value toy we have bought. Our only comment is that when we put it together for the first time it did not work. It has taken us (and several of our friends who also bought it)several attempts to get everything working e.g. the elastic band that drives part of it had come loose! However once working it was fantastic.
