Introduce baby to a place full of exciting sights and sounds and lots of safe jumping fun with the Fisher-Price Rainforest Jumperoo. Designed for use by a child who is able to hold his or her head up unassisted and who is not yet able to climb out or walk, this baby jumper delights baby with interactive play options and stimulating movement to help encourage healthy development.

Promotes comfort and security

The Rainforest Jumperoo is a safe and comfortable place for baby to sit and play, whether they stay for just a moment or for several minutes. Two soft leaves extend from the frame to create an overhead canopy with soft toys that dangle down for fun bat-at play. It also features a rotating seat with soft spring covers that keep little fingers safe from pinching and three-position height adjustment for a custom fit.

Stimulating interactive play

Everything your baby needs at playtime can be found in the Rainforest Jumperoo. Its frame allows you to open it up from the top and lets the seat rotate 360 degrees so your baby can play and interact from any side. A fun seat and toys at five locations on the platform engage baby all the way around and an electronic toy at the front has motion, music and lights that can be activated by baby spinning a drum. Parents can also activate an option for four minutes of continuous play.

Little explorers will also enjoy playing with the Jumperoo's many animals and toys, including a bobbling elephant, a monkey swinging from a vine, a parrot hanging from a bead bar, a clear spinning bead ball, a tiger that plays hide and seek, a spinning lizard that makes rattling sounds, a tethered chew toy and a stack of chips with eye-catching graphics for baby to explore.

Encourages healthy development

The Rainforest Jumperoo is designed to help encourage healthy development. Moving, spinning and jumping in a baby jumper enhances large motor skills. Secondly, the variety of textures integrated into the rainforest toys provide tactile stimulation, while the bright colours and fun music engage your child's visual and auditory senses. This educational system also enhances learning through discovery; the baby's actions make things happen, helping them to understand cause and effect. Finally, reaching and grasping onto the baby jumper's toys fosters hand-eye coordination.

Easy to use, move and store

Parents will appreciate the quick take-down and portability of the Rainforest Jumperoo - the frame pivots to a nested position so it can be tucked away when not in use and it simply folds so you can carry it from room to room. No doorway is required to use this toy, making it a breeze to set up anywhere.

The Rainforest Jumperoo includes a motion sensor that encourages kids by rewarding them with lights and sounds when they jump. It has a weight capacity of 25 pounds and requires three AA batteries (not included). It measures 32 x 43 x 37 inches.

My family and I absolutely 100% love the jumperoo. Musing about the price I decided that, yes, knowing what I do now I would pay hundreds, nay, thousands of pounds for this. Seriously I would sell the car. I just cannot overstate how this thing has quite literally saved my life. Short version: BUY THIS! Long version: With bab number one I was too smug for such things, if it wasn't handwoven organic wool naturally shed from free-range unionized sheep I didn't want to know. Then came our second son. Holy cow this kid can scream and scream he did from the moment he was born. None of my tricks worked. The "witchtwigs" (as my DH affectionately calls them), the osteopath, my mom coming to stay, my dad and his wife coming to stay, nothing could make this poor little dude happy. I was shattered, our previously joyful family was just really, well, sad and most of all we felt awful for this little guy that we couldn't find a way to help him out. One afternoon in tears I put us all in the car, sung through the screaming and bought the jumperoo. (Amazon, you know I buy far too much from you, I just couldn't wait a moment longer for a chance of help!) He was just over 3 months old then. I piled up some towels underneath him and away we went. I can't say it was an instant hit. I think we started out with 1 minute but I was determined. Within a few days though he had discovered its beauty and honestly life was forever altered. Suddenly he had something that for whatever reason gave him relief, distraction, whatever and it made him so happy! When he would launch into one of his screaming fits I'd put him into the jumperoo and like some kind of magic he would instantly stop.Read more ›

First of all, I would like to state that I have absolutely no affiliations with Fisher-Price. If I could give the Jumparoo more than 5 stars I certainly would!

Our 8 month old LOVES her Jumparoo and she has done since she got it at around 3 months. When we put her in it, she bounces around like a lunatic with a big smile, she plays with the toys on the front and also reaches up to grab froggy and the parrot. The Jumparoo spins around so she can play with the different toys around the edge. We like the music it plays but my Wife finds it a bit tedious after a bit - there are 2 different settings and volumes or you can turn it off. The Jumparoo has 3 height settings, our daughter is 8 months and above average in height and we are still on the first setting so we're confident it will last us a while.

The thing that my Wife and I love about the Jumparoo is that it gives us that 5 or 10 minutes we need to whizz around and tidy the kitchen or make a feed or lunch etc. That time it gives you is absolutely invaluable. Our daughter loves to be held which we all know can be tiring so the Jumparoo is great for having a 5 or 10 minute break to recharge you batteries.

When we bought the Jumparoo I did think that the £[] we paid was a bit too much but in hindsight I can genuinely say we would have paid 10 times that amount.

To be fair she doesn't always like going in, for example when she's grumpy or grizzly due to teething but that is very infrequent.

Highly recommended.

This is a bit of an expensive toy, and being off work on mat leave and therefore having a limited income I probably would have given it a miss, that is before I saw all the reviews on here! And now I can safely say it really is worth every penny!
First got it when my little girl was three months, she was a bit unsure at first and was only just holding her head up herself so session times were limited, but I could see she was interested. Now at just short of 5 months her legs are long enough to touch the floor on the lowest setting (it has 3 height settings allowing for growth, before that she just dangled) and she has suddenly learned how to bounce. It's a joy to see her little face light up :-) Every morning now when I take her downstairs and lay her down on the floor to change her nappy she swivels her head to see the Jumperoo and gets quite giddy!
She loves it, I love it and I'm really happy that when she starts crawling I'll be able to use it to keep her safely occupied when I need to leave the room for short spells, knowing that I won't find her with her hand in a plug socket when I come back from making a cuppa!

My daughter loves this. We chose this as we have two dogs and did not think a door bouncer would be a good idea. This really grows with your baby and creates a safe environment for them to play and even gives you five minutes to do some chores, that is if you can stop yourself from watching your baby amuse themselves! Only down side it is expensive!

Bought the jumperoo as I have heard so many good things from my friends. My son however didnt quite agree with that. He was fine with it and enjoying it only for 10 minutes or so then he wanted to be out of it. We didnt use it for longer than a couple of months...Want worth t he money for such a short period of time.

We bought this for our little boy when he was four months old and he has loved it from his first shot of it. We put towels under it as his legs were too short to reach the ground (and are still too short at 5 and a half months even though he's quite a tall boy).

He really likes the lights, the bug and the lizard with rolling balls and just loves bouncing like a maniac to get the animal sounds. He squeals with joy and giggles as he's bouncing. Last week he managed to reach up and catch the parrot for the first time and was as proud as punch. It's lovely to watch him playing in his jumperoo.

He would spend ages in it if he was given the chance!

The back of the jumperoo is not as interesting as the front as the sunshine is not very colourful - the box shows a rainbow colouring but it's just plain white.

It can be quite tricky getting the baby's feet through the leg holes but it gets easier with practice.

We researched this product and alternatives in quite a bit of detail as it's a lot of money to spend but it's well worth the money for the enjoyment our son has had from it so far and will get from it in the future. Some of his wee friends had a go of it last week and their parents have since bought jumperoos as their babies loved it too.
