OK, he is pirate mad, but this was a good game for him even so. It was easy for him to get around, he found the animations funny and he enjoyed the games. A useful point for parents: some of the games need parental help if your child is very young, but there's plenty that a small child can do on their own, so you get to play with them if you want, but they can also play on their own.

my son (6) loves the activities on this disc...he loves the graphics and various different activities, which are totally appropriate for his age. he can easily use the disc alone promoting independence.....that is when his sisters dont join in!! at present we only borrowed "pirate" from a friend but i am planning to purchase from amazon in the very near future....great value for money and equally as educational & entertaining as " great castle adventure"!

Complete waste of money, doesn't work with Windows XP Home and no patch is available from the manufacturer. Unless you are running an old PC with Windows 98 on it steer clear of this software.
