5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Toy Ever..., 1 Jan 2006
Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars
This is the most fantastic toy we have ever bought (and we've bought a LOT in my daughter's 15 months!) It's quite expensive but worth every penny!

It is very well made and is very sturdy which is great for encouraging baby to pull themselves up. The sound quality of the songs and noises is excellent and although it is essentially an American toy, the speech is in an english accent.

It does absolutely loads and keeps little ones amused for ages. My daughter plays with hers every day (she loves crawling through the door and closing it behind her, she also likes pressing the door bell and seeing the porch light go on, pushing the window up and down and posting the little letters into the post box). There's a radio that has 5 different 'channels', which play different songs and nursery rhymes, there's a water spout to put balls into... the list is endless! When my daughters friends come round to play they all make a bee-line for this toy and play for ages exploring all of it's functions.

This is one of our 'must have' toys!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Value for Money Toy Purchased!!, 3 Sep 2005
By A Customer
Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars
I cannot recommend this toy highly enough. It has many functions/activities to keep all recommended age groups amused and occupied as well as having educational value, eg, clock to teach time, shape sorter etc. The different activities and functions grow and develop with the age of the child such that the older they get, the more they get from it. My youngest daughter has played happily with it from being able to sit up and my older daughter still adores it. It is one of the few toys which is played with at length on a daily basis, and is ideal as they can play with it individually or share - a great plus for any parent of more than one child!! Set up across the corner of a room, it is like a little 'house' and they can use it for role play as well as playing with it in its electronic speaking/music modes. I expected it to eat batteries with the number of functions it has, but I am pleased to say that it is still running with the original set after 9 months. It also has the added bonus of not taking up too much room and although there is some home assembly required, it is not too difficult. It may seem an expensive toy, but it has proved to be a real winner because of its play value/versatility and how well thought out the numerous activities are for each age group it covers.

5.0 out of 5 stars My one-year-old absolutely loves it!, 16 Dec 2004
By A Customer
Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars
We have bought Fisher Price Laugh and Learn Home together with some other toys for my son's first birthday. It was his big present for his birthday. We had already asked the nursery what he likes to play with most and we had a good idea that this would be a good toy for him. So at about 50 pounds we thought it was fairly priced, considering the amount of activities and the size of the toy. We also thought that age wise it should last him for a while, due to the nature of the toy. This toy needs assemling. The assembling of the toy took about 20 minutes and it was all ready after that.Since we opened the box and set it up this is my son's favorite toy. He absolutely loves pushing the different buttons and listening to different songs, and for a first, he actually dances to the songs as well. I find that at times he is happy enough sitting in front of this toy listening to different songs and dancing for half an hour at a time with no sign of boredom. He opens and closes the doors and plays with the balls, letters, little window, flower etc.etc. It is a toy full of activities. Fisher Price has thought of parents as well and there are two volume buttons that allows parents to watch TV! when the baby is playing with the toy. I am giving the highest rating for this toy. It is certainly my son's favorite toy and I am very pleased with it as a parent.
