After several nights swinging baby in the car seat to get him off to sleep, I invested in this swing and love it! It runs quite quietly, so in those early tiring weeks, I was able to take a nap with baby swinging beside me. The music is relaxing and not irritating and last quiet a long time. Seems quite good on battery usage, but make sure you have spares! Only criticisms - the change in the seat position is so small it is not really worth being there and the plastic mobile is awful and I can't see a way to take it off without using a hacksaw! The mobile makes an annoying clank, so I ended up taping it up - baby has never taken any notice of it either!
