I had to write my own review for this item having read the other review for it. I have 3 children and have used a variety of products designed for the bath and my only complaint is that I only found this product with baby number 3 and not before! I do not find that my daughter (who does wriggle) slips down. I have found many benefits. My daughter loves it and it allows me to have 2 hands free for bathing her. It can be used in a baby bath or in a full size bath. It is soft but strong. An added advantage is that the cover removes from the frame and can be washed in the washing machine. I had previously tried the sponge variety which I found useless. They offered little support and were not durable in the washing machine and quickly became mouldy through being soaked in water and were difficult to dry out. Obviously each to their own, but in my humble opinion as a mum of 3 this is one of the best buys.

Well as I bought four different types of baby bathing equipment before we found one that was any good I think I'm a bit of an expert on these things!

This was the first one we bought and quite frankly it is USELESS! Looks good in theory but doesn't work at all. As soon as you put baby on it baby slides down into the water because of the angle on the device. This being the case you have to hold the baby at all times and cannot let go even for a second to squib some top to toe wash on them. And yes I know you aren't going to let them go for long (obviously!) but the constant sliding down is a real pain in the bum especially if you have a wriggly baby like ours.

Get a flat sponge one instead to use in the big bath, far better and much simpler!

I can't believe that anyone could not like this product. I have used it with my 3 children and I think it's brilliant. I have recommended it to friends too and none of them have had any complaints either
