I have been a fan of Jennifer Chase since the first book she ever published. Her minds runs in the same vein as mine. Twisted and sardonic. This neat little short story gives a whole new meaning to the term "Protect and Serve". She takes her character on heart stopping journey all because of a traffic stop by a cop who is not what he appears to be. But this cop is not the last one to be not who he appears to be.

Ms. Chase loves to put her readers on the edge of their seat as they delve into the spine tingling stories from her mind.It is as if she has taken a page from the "Twilight Zone" and put it on paper.

If you are a fan of horror you will want to read this little short story. No I will not give away the plot or story line.... I leave it for the reader to take that dark road, if you dare.

In this story, a man is pulled over by the police and discovers there is something wrong with the officer. His fears are confirmed and he starts running for his life! The author does an excellent job of building the suspense until our main character makes it to the next county and feels his problems are over. How very wrong he was! This was a very well written tale that gives a new twist to the popular monsters currently dwelling in our literature and films. It was definitely a worthwhile read for fans of horror and for authors looking to study how to create and hold suspense!
