Product Description

Manufacturer's Description

Build FPS games with ease
We're quite rightly very proud of the game building environment we have created for you. Gone is the tedious task of hollowing out cubes just to make a room, or having to know a programming language inside out. Our fully graphical Windows based editor allows you to literally paint your maps with pixel perfect 3D precision and create great looking scenes in minutes.

And when you've got things placed where you want them you can drop in weapons, enemies, objectives, trigger zones, customise the loading screens, create your own AI scripts, draw some waypoint paths, set-up some gorgeous lighting effects and then a single click of the mouse will turn it all into an EXE file you can pass to your friends.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great games creator! So easy to use. ++++, 20 Oct 2005
This review is from: First Person Shooter Creator (PC) (CD-ROM)
This is such an easy games creation tool. I had my first FPS game up and running in just 10 minutes. The quality of the game was awesome - it even has physics like Half Life 2.

It comes with world war 2 and Sci Fi graphic packs and you can edit and change everything. The editor is so easy to use and you can build multi level games and even sell what you make!

Go and check out the trial version to see for yourself, it's over at www.fpscreator.com.

I score it 5 out of 5, just brilliant!

5.0 out of 5 stars Game Making - The Next Generation, 20 Oct 2005
By A Customer
This review is from: First Person Shooter Creator (PC) (CD-ROM)
Traditionally, creating computer games is a hard cookie to crack. Not only do you have to be a wizard programmer, you have to gather graphics, sound and other material in sufficient measure to bring your game to life. It is not uncommon to spend 'years' working on a single game. Imagine a tool that lets you create a game of your own in 'days'. A tool that removes the need to learn programming. A tool that has already found and gathered together all the models, textures, sounds and music you might need for your game. In short, a tool that lets YOU create the game. Now imagine a tool that took three years to write, is backed by vibrant community support and contains assets worth many thousands of pounds, that allows you to sell what you make royalty and license free. If all this sounds too good to be true, then you probably will not believe the rest.

The shining features of FPS Creator in my opinion is the built-in physics system, which transforms your levels into a playground of possibilities. Combined with the game elements for weapons, enemies and obstacles, the physics system breaths life into every object from a mug of tea on the edge of a desk to a massive toppling tower. The depth created from interacting with this physics world makes the games created with FPS Creator stand out.

If you have an interest in making your own games, I have no hesitation recommending this product!

First of all, if you have no computer programing experience that doesn't matter because it's very easy to use and fast. Secondly, The gameplay and graphics are very good and you can sell your game you make or give it to your friends as there is no licencing. Also, you can create your own models so you can put your face texture in the game and make it as a character. Finally, I think it's a extremly good game and well worth the price for anybody who does or doesn't like FPS games.
