A great novel of interest to those within the IT industry and anyone interested in the workings of Silicon Valley. The story is gripping and realistic.

Format:Mass Market Paperback
From the very first chapter this book grabs the reader. It's vivid descriptions of silicon valley made me feel as if I knew the place. It brilliantly handles the issue of technical language for non techies. One of the only book I've read where I was expecting that extra little twist right up to the last paragraph. If you want to be the next Bill Gates read this

This is a good light read for something like the plane. It's marketed as a Silicon Valley "thriller", but it's both more and less than this: more because of the characters and information about computing, and less because it didn't for me quite have that "I must turn the page" quality that I associate with true thrillers. There were a few points about the plot that didn't quite make sense to me, as well. Still, I recommend this book. But how quickly things date in computing ...
