I really liked this book as did my 3 year old son. There are lots of flaps to open, surfaces to touch and paper levers to pull. It does not have any information on the dinosaurs as such, but each dinosaur illustrated shows its name which is also spelt out phonetically, which I found really useful and very smart. The last pages of the book show the dinosaurs as they were when alive and then when the flap is lifted, reveal the skeleton or bones of that dinosaur....quite clever.
I think it is one of the most interesting dinosaur books I have seen for that age group, its only failing is that there is no information or text at all, so you can not read it to a child easily unless you are happy just to teach them the names of the dinosaurs. It is an excellent play book otherwise and different to anything else I have come across. I would happily recommend it.
