It was fairly straightforward to check this book out on Amazon with the look inside feature and it had the content that was wanted. It is easy and friendly to use and has more than enough inside to get someone started. It has an alphabet plus a list of words in English, Hebrew and phonetics.

As an adult learning Hebrew this is a fun way to learn/ revise vocabulary. I remember using the English version of this book when my kids were young ( both young adults now!) so we now play the same game but with Mum learning the words :):)

Didn't give it five stars as my partner, who is Israeli, says some of the translations are not quite correct.

Book good for all ages, also fun searching for the duck!!!!!!

As a linguist who found the Japanese First 1000 words particularly useful, I began collecting the others. Having studied Arabic, I felt the Hebrew version would complete my collection.
Much to be recommended.
