Double bill of romantic comedies, both starring Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler. 'The Wedding Singer' is set in 1985. Robbie Hart (Sandler) makes his living as a singer at wedding receptions. When he is jilted by girlfriend Linda (Angela Featherstone) on his own wedding day, however, Robbie's musical performances degenerate into bitter tirades. Robbie's career is rescued by waitress Julia (Barrymore), who asks him to help with the preparations for her own impending nuptials. Robbie and Julia begin to fall for each other, but neither reveals their feelings - even though Robbie knows that Julia's fiancé is cheating on her. In '50 First Dates', Barrymore plays Lucy Whitmore, a beautiful woman suffering from acute short-term memory loss. After a car accident several months before, she has been left with a rare brain condition that causes her memory to be totally erased every night when she goes to sleep. Sandler plays Henry Roth, a vet who works at the aquarium in the Hawaiian resort where Lucy is living a quiet life with her over-protective father (Blake Clark) and goofy brother (Sean Astin). Henry usually spends his summers seducing a string of female tourists that he'll never see again - but when he meets Lucy he realises he's found something special, and resolves to give up his promiscuous, non-commital lifestyle. The only problem is, when he meets her again the next day, she hasn't got a clue who he is. Henry embarks on an elaborate quest to win her heart, with the help of his stoner best friend Ula (Rob Schneider). Dan Akroyd makes a cameo appearance as Lucy's doctor.

I just love Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore in these movies together, they have an on screen chemistry that I have yet to see be matched by anyone!!! 50 First Dates is both hilarious and daramatic and is a must see for anyone who enjoy's films by either of these actors. It is about a girl, who after being in an accident, is left with only memories from before the accident. Adam falls for her and the film revolves around him having to re introduce himself to her everyday in a bid to develop a relationship. It is very funny and dramatic. The film is complimented by the hilarious supporting role played by Rob Shneider. This double feature set is great value for money and the film The Wedding Singer is a perfect compliment to the set. Set in the 80's when Wedding singer's were the embarassment of every big day, you witness the unique singing style of Adam Sandler and again you witness this mismatched pair develop a loving relationship, as their individual lives fall apart. Less dramatic than 50 First dates, but extremely funny. A great double feature set!

Everything in this great! The films are fantastic and it's a real bargain to get both films for so cheap! Adam Sandler is really funny (Billy Madison has been excused) and Drew Barrymore is lovely and they really work well together. 50 First Dates is quite an intereting mix of comedy, romance and drama with Rob Schneider in a good supporting role and The Wedding Singer is great for the 80's music and the guy who always sings culture club's "Do you really wanna hurt me?". Classic moments in both and with loads of great extras then this is a must buy!

I LOVE BOTH OF THESE MOVIES,ADAM SANDLER AND DREW BARRYMORE IS A COMBINATION YOU JUST CAN'T BEAT.AS MUCH AS I LOVE THESE MOVIES I HAVE YET TO BUY THEM SEPARATE.I SEEN ANOTHER ADAM SANDLER MOVIE DOUBLE FEATURE THAT INCLUDED THE WEDDING SINGER AND BIG DADDY.I WAS TURN AWAY FROM BUYING IT THOUGH BECAUSE THE WEDDING SINGER WAS IN FULL SCREEN BUT AT LEAST BIG DADDY WAS IN WIDE SCREEN.I ALWAYS CHECK FOR SCREEN FORMAT BECAUSE I LOVE SEEING THE MOVIE THE WAY IT WAS SHOWN IN THE THEATER.FULL SCREEN SHOULD JUST BE FOR TV SHOWS.
