This is a nice book that my 2 month old son enjoys.

I purchased both this book and Faces (Baby's Very First Book) at the same time, and I must say that I prefer the Faces book. The faces book is designed as a book with pages that can be turned in the normal way - while this book is a string of folded up pages (eg, if you pull it open you can see several pages at the same time).

Having said that, the patterns in this book are more attractive than the patterns in the faces book (but less attractive to my son that the faces pictures in the faces book). I think it's worth buying both books, but if you were only to buy one I would recommend the faces book instead.

I found this whilst searching for a book that would be suitable for my twin boys. I was keen for them to start looking at books as early as possible and thought i would give this one a try. When it first arrive i have to admit i was a little disappointed as it was just the three colours and i thought that they would find it uninspiring but decided to give it a go. I was shocked to find they absolutely love it. So i recommend it without hesitation. What a great first book.

We used this book to line the side of our baby's pram after seeing someone else doing it and it really catches her attention. It must make travelling along without being able to see much more than the sky a whole lot more interesting.

I bought this book for my 8 week old premature baby and it's the only thing so far that really captures her attention. We put it around her on her changing table or when she is having a bit of a kick in her cot and she is mesmerised by it - particularly the picture of the house for some reason! It does seem to calm her down if she is getting a bit fractious. Definitely a worthwhile purchase!

My newborn baby loves this little fold out book and I get great pleasure from seeing her happy with it. I wish I had bought a few of these as I use this one inside her pram during the day (I peg it around the inside of her pram) and also move it to place it along the wall at the side of her changing area. She is transfixed by the mirror page and stares at it for ages quietly while I'm changing her. She is also fascinated by the other pages too but nothing like the little mirror. I line the fishy mirror up to exactly where her face is (in the pram or on the changing unit) so she can see in it. Worth every penny in exchange for those lovely quiet moments for me and the amusement for her!

My baby loved this book from newborn. I put it round the changing mat for peaceful nappy changes, in the moses basket as I grabbed a shower, in her pram when we were out and about. It came everywhere and kept her quiet. Then she found her hands and would pull it down to chew it, which she could do safely. She happily discovered the mirror. I've not had it out for a few months - I daresay she'd still like it but we've moved on. This was definitely one of my best buys in newborn entertainment.

We bought this for our three-week old when he was two weeks old and he can't get enough of it! He will quite happily lie and stare at the bold, bright images for ages.

We've actually put this zig-zagged on one side of my sons play gym and it gives him another thing to look at. The mirror is great.
