This book is really useful for parents and carers alike. The pictures illustrate how to deal with emergencies and injuries in a consice manner, and real children are used, rather than drawings or pictures of adults. A handy reference book to have to hand should the need for emergency treatment of your children should arise.

This book is out of date, while the advice in it is useful, and the pictures are good, the content on CPR, Bleeding, Burns, Choking and Recovery Position has all been updated in the UK by new guidelines published in 2005.
Therefore this book is not worth the paper it is printed on. Newer books with the 2005 protocols are available, and are just as good.
