Amazon Verified Purchase
Large picture board book, very bold and colourful and a welcome addition to our growing collection of children's books. The Amazon discount was very welcome as I probably wouldn't have paid full price for it, having seen it. The 100 animals were not the 100 most obvious 'basic' animals I was hoping for and some of the pictures chosen for the animals were a bit random. To give one example, I would have preferred to just have a duck and a goose - the decision to include a gosling has forced me to be a bit economical with the truth to avoid confusing my daughter (18 months) who is just about grasping the difference between ducks and geese, but is not ready for the complication of their offspring not looking like them just yet.

When my daughter was 15 months old, she likes to learn all the animals sounds. She is a fast learner and we were running out of idea of what animals to teach her. We therefore bought this book and she loves it. She is now 2 years old and she knows almost 80% of the animals in this book!

I love Priddy books, and this is no exception. Great pictures and loads of unusual animals, so there are plenty of opportunities to discuss with your child. Also gave it as a present to slightly older children who are learning English as their second language, as it is a fun way for them to work on the vocabulary.

A favourite
Really lovely pictures! In our house this is a top favourite. Would recommend it without hesitation. It is quite large but all the better for little ones.
