Dont buy this cable if you happen to own a MAC (made by Apple) and want to sync with your iPod (also made by Apple) using Firewire (an Apple standard) because, despite the Amazon page saying 'compatible with any computer', this cable comes with a little warning on the packet - 'DOES NOT HAVE DATA TRANSFER FUNCTION ON MACINTOSH'. Incredible. What do they think a Mac user would use it for then?
