I needed to transfer footage from my 8year old camcorder to my laptop, this cable did the job, no problem and at so little cost. Delivery was quick considering there was no delivery cost.Firewire Cable IEEE 1394 4 Pin to 4 Pin 1.8M

Product very simple to install and worked immediately. I was a little concerned about the need for the Windows CD for the PC as it is 'mislaid', but it wasn't needed. Brilliant cheap solution to downloading video to PC.

Camcorder to PC cable
Works absolutely fine to link my old Sony camcorder to a Windows 7 PC. Very pleased as I previously had problems trying to link via USB.

firewire
good piece of kit for transfer of movies from video camera very easy to use and fast. This is what preceded the usb cable. ensure you get the correct number of pins
