Firestarter is an exceptional piece of music and was recently voted one of the top 25 singles of all time on channel 4. To be honest it should have been higher.This is a fantastic blend of superb techno-electronica and outstanding samples. This is a must for any CD rack and YOU should be no exception.

This is the song that made them big . It is the song that everybody will remember them for . Unfortunately it's not their best . Yes it is good but it lacks the panache of their earlier work and sounds like they went completely out to the pop culture . Still if you want another good track on this try Molotov Bitch ( I'm surprised this didn't get mentioned on amazon as that's what it says on my CD ). If you like decent pop music , you'll like this . But if like me you might want to try their earlier stuff - much better .

"Firestarter" is one of Prodigy's strongest singles. Naturally, you already have the title track on the corresponding "Fat of the Land" LP. This single does what a good single should: play different versions of the title track. Both the Empirion Mix and instrumental version satisfy those who've listened to the original version a zillion times. "Molotov B**ch" is an instrumental techno tune that lays down some phat beats. Overall, "Firestarter" is a strong single.
