I actually read this book before it's predecessor and found it so good that I searched and searched for Sweet Savage Love.
It is not your average romance story. They treat each other badly, sleep with other people but you always know that deep down they love each other, and when it counts they will go to the others rescue to save them.

I've first read all three books in the series from Mums book collection when I was about 15 and it woke my heart to a kind of romance that doesn't really exist but the books kept me entertained for many hours and we all love the idea of some rough romantic hero whisking us off when we are 15!
When Mum died last year I found first book in the series and decided to track the others down too.
I'd forgotten so much as it had been many years since I read them but it was fun to read them again and for anyone who still believes in good old fashioned romance they are well worth a read. Times have moved on since they were written but a great holiday read and you always want the two main characters to find each other again.
Only gripe is that Dark Fires is a bit dragged out but Rosemary Rogers was a lady writing well before her time in terms of bodice rippers!!
