I did purchase this product due to a wish of creating a nice atmosphere during the Christmas holidays. With a big flat screen TV and the Blu-Ray player, this was easy. The product do not necessary give 100% credit to the Blu-Ray properties possible, but I can not complaint eighter. It did it's purpose.

This blu ray disc is totally disappointing. One wouldn't think creating a realistic video of a fire would be a particularly challenging task, however, this film completely fails. The flames are shot too close so that the household fire effect is lost. There is no illusion and the effect is similar to throwing petroleum on your barbecue and plunging your face into the resulting flames.

I have a number of aquarium and fireplace DVDs ... and now also two as Blu-Rays for my PS3. This is by far the best I have - love this one. Great picture quality with really good and real surround sound. The fireplace feels like it is heating up my room. Very nice title - can fully recommend it!

Not too impressed
I bought this for my husband on his request. We were not too impressed as the fire is filmed too close so lots of it is off the side of the screen even when you adjust the TV... Read more

if your looking for high quality blu-ray dont buy
Really - just don't buy this - it certainly is not blu-ray quality and I have a significantly better DVD version (look for DVD equivalent with good reviews). Read more

best thing to play on your flat screen when you have guest over ...
it is great, the flames flicker, the crackles of the burning wood turns the room into a welcoming and beautiful atmosphere - very relaxing .... I very much recommend this one
