I'm a big fan of Ong Bak and hoped for a wave of amazing Thai action afterwards but none of it delivered quite as well as Fireball does which I caught at the Prince Charles cinema in London. There's even less plot in Fireball than Ong Bak (yes it is possible!) and the action is different but in terms of pace this film is a riot that hardly pauses for breath and brings to mind the heady days of 80s and 90s action where minimal plot quickly set up a load of great stunts and fights with people who look like they can inflict some real damage. It's a top choice for a Friday night in along with a brewskie or three! If you're doing a double bill with a classic I think this would play nicely with Bloodsport.
