I am one of those who have followed Danielle on Twitter for a while now, subscribed to her blog and purchased The Firestarter Sessions when it was still only available as an e-programme. When I saw that she was bringing out The Firestarter Sessions as a book, I knew I'd buy it, but I didn't honestly expect it to be all the different from the programme I'd already purchased, read, re-read and recommended to anyone who would listen to me!

Danielle's described it as akin to the moment when Dorothy moves from black and white to glorious technicolor, and I would agree that the book is both the same as the original and oh so much better. Which is saying something, cos it was really excellent to begin with.

Here, we find the prose polished to a sparkling shine, the structure improved with a greater coherence and new anecdotes added and old anecdotes fleshed out and juiced up. Overall, I found her book accessible, exciting, inspiring and highly motivating. Seriously, if this doesn't get your mojo moving, nothing will.

The book is divided into 3 sections: Mojo, Moxie & Results covering everything from money & time to dreaming, fear, failure, desire and my personal favourite - the metrics of ease (What would your life be like if you did only what was easy?)

Oh, and the other thing I should say - The Firestarter Sessions isn't just for entrepreneurs - it's for everyone. Danielle will reconnect you to your inner flame with grace, humility, clarity and humour - a truly dynamic combination.

If you want to feel motivated and inspired to do what you love most,then read this.Danielle LaPorte takes ideas from many excellent sources such as "Women who run with the Wolves",Julia Cameron,Martha Beck and other top coaches and presents it in an in your face/take it or leave it way.There's no padding and useful,straightforward ideas.It's targeted at generation Xers and it shows.The presentation is artfull and the writing speaks one on one.Worth buying if you haven't other similar books.

I've been lucky enough to receive a review copy of The Fire Starter Sessions...
I was a little bit fearful about this ,filled with trepidation,
in the past, I've spent a small fortune on books that will help me find my way to a more exciting life, a more fulfilled life, a life that fits more perfectly with who I am and what I want to do.
Most of those, with one or two exceptions have been a waste of time....and money

I like Danielle Laporte, have followed her at [...] for a few years now, and was worried about just what I was gonna say if this was just another book that identified my problem but provided no solutions, or viable, 'I can do this' solutions
but...fortunatley I can honestly say...

THIS BOOK IS WORTH READING, WORTH BUYING, worth sharing with all your friends..this book is mega...this book, what Danielle has to say , is a game-changer...

Danielle is talking about women finally doing business/exploring their art, opening up to success... on their own terms...

Years ago I read an amazing book by Gloria Steinem, where she described how women were holding back from stepping up to their new-found freedom, I think here, in The Fire Starter Sessions, Danielle Laporte shows us how,she gives us courage to be ourselves, to be our best selves, to tap into who we really are and make that the secret of our success...

not that this book is solely for women.... if you struggle with the 'cut and thrust' idea of business, if you long to dig deep into your natural talents and live a life truly worthy of you, then this book is for you

I will be buying this book, as I did Gloria Steinems, for many of my friends...I will be urging people to buy it...its a classic

its revolutionary, its life-changing...and , its easy...no 'habits' to acquire, no changes to make to yourself...no bending yourself out of shape...just the power of you...
