Where was I the first time?
This is one of the albums that has helped me discover part of the whole afro-american culture of the 70's.
Books and Music.
A huge legacy that has birthed so much of todays street culture.
Visionaries - Terry Callier, Roy Ayers, Bobbi Humphrey, Gil Scott-Heron, Iceberg Slim, and the Mizell Brothers to name some.
More than pioneers - none maybe never really given the credit they deserve in shaping a genre - influencing generations.
This is a real voyage of discovery - and I am booked.
Mongrel, crossover folk, funk, jazz, soul, rap, world? - who cares for tags?
This is magic and I feel blessed to found it.
Hindsight, they say, is 20/20 vision.
So look back to the future and sign up to it today.

Ordered this for my dad. He's very happy and has been playing it in his car since. He said he had these songs on vinyl when he was younger so he was really happy to be listening to them again. Great service form seller! 5/5

This was Terry Callier's first Album. I bought this album for the haunting track-African Violet-worth the admission price on its own.
Of course he went on to more commercialised music as demanded by the record company . But this is a superb collection of orignal music.

Dodgy late '70s disco-synth Terry Callier. Certainly not up to the standard of his earlier or later releases. Only for those who like cheese or want to own the whole Terry Callier set.
