Things are more suspensive and even darker in this book, at times, than in the prequel. Absolutely fantastic ideas that really keep you hooked. All of the secrecy and the lies tell you that something is being plotted all the way through. Fireheart, the main character, knows this but can't tell anyone until he has proof and an explanation as to what it is. It almost reminds me of the newer Harry Potter books, but with cats and no magic.

The mythical ideas are great too. Starclan and the Moonstone and everything else.

This book is for people who like tales of mystery, betrayal, drama and, of course, cats.

I can't wait to read the third book, Forest of Secrets.

This is a truly brilliant book-my favorite book ever apart from "Into The Wild"-all sorts of things are revealed!
I won't tell you to much-I don't want to spoil the book if you are planning to read it-but Tigerclaw turns out to be just as untrustworthy as he seemed in the first book!
In this book,Windclan reappears,Greystripe and Fireheart having rescued them and brought them home. But, when they are on their way back to Thunderclan's camp, they decide to take a short-cut through Riverclan's territory, and are caught-with a Windclan escourt! In the battle that ensues a Riverclan cat is killed.
Then,Shadowclan and Riverclan cats are scented in Thunderclan's terretory-but allways the same cats. Nightstar (Shadowclan's new leader) and Crookedstar (Riverclan's leader)insist that they are rouge cats-but Bluestar is not so sure.
Are Riverclan and Shadowclan invading Thunderclan's territory?
Well, you'll just have to find out....

Fire and Ice (Warrior Cats)

My son really enjoyed this book and is planning to read the whole series. He does not read as much as I would like these days, but these books really seem to have captured his imagination.

ok i have to admit i didnt read the first book i only got this book, i have now ordered all 6!

This book is amazing. I didnt think i would enjoy it but it really draws you in and you become really attached to all the characters involved. It will have to laughing and smiling and it a really good read.

Basically this book is about the lies that possibly surround Tigerclaw and how Fireheart and Graystripe help bring the Windclan back home.

I really would recomment this book to anyone and even if you haven't read the first one you cxan easily pick up the story line. BUT BEWARE.....

This book is addictive!

I own the entire first series, the New Prophecy, and I will soon own 'The Sight', but this series is definetly the best. You really feel for FireHeart, feel his mixed loyalties and his anguish. These books are the most exciting and feelingful books I have ever read. Erin Hunter mixes studied wild cat behaviour with astronomy and legend, creating a suspensful adventure story that urges readers onward. DEFINETLY buy it!

I could lie and say it was the best book I ever read, but it's joint with into the wild (the one before this one) I would definitely recommend it to anyone between 9 and 900. Great for cat lovers .
